It's crafted from premium polypropylene Multicord, with a fine 48-strand woven sheath over a supple inner core that feels smooth and comfortable in your hand. Polypropylene is naturally non-absorbent, so the lead floats on water, dries quickly, and stays lightweight even after a full-on swim. It won't harbour mildew or rot, and the OEKO-TEX certified, non-toxic construction means it's completely safe for your dog and every environment you explore together.
Every rope lead is made by hand in our UK workshop, with the same care and attention to detail that goes into every Dottie's product. Rugged enough for the wildest coastal walks, comfortable enough for everyday use.
Measure around your dog's neck where the collar sits, then add 2-3cm for comfort. Choose the size range that fits your measurement.

Machine wash at 30° on a gentle cycle. Air dry flat — do not tumble dry. Avoid prolonged soaking. Hardware can be wiped with a damp cloth. Biothane collars can be rinsed clean with warm water.
