Materials & Craftsmanship

We've been making handmade pet accessories at Dottie's since 2011, and this ribbon lead is a good example of how we work. The grosgrain ribbon is carefully hand-stitched over cushioned polypropylene webbing - a combination that feels lovely to hold whilst standing up well to everyday adventures. There's no production line here. Every lead is made individually, with the same care and attention whether it's our first of the week or our fiftieth.

Machine wash at 30° on a gentle cycle. Air dry flat — do not tumble dry. Avoid prolonged soaking. Hardware can be wiped with a damp cloth. Biothane collars can be rinsed clean with warm water.
